Mauritius has a modern seaport and a well developed freeport sector offering a comprehensive range of integrated logistics facilities such as warehousing, consolidation of shipments, quality control, customs control and shipment services. The country provides regular sea connections to main markets and the main shipping companies have offices in Mauritius.

Excellent air connections exist with most of its export destinations, with daily flights to Europe, Africa. There are weekly flights to Asia, Indian Ocean and other key destinations such as Dubai and Australia. Besides the presence of major airlines such as Air France, British Airways, Lufthansa, and South African Airways. The national airline, Air Mauritius, offers non-stop services to most European, Asian and South East African cities. Access to the US is made through West Africa or Europe, via South Africa.

Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU), an innovative concept in freight forwarding, has been devised by one of the leading logistics providers in Mauritius with a view to offering our clients an alternative to routed traffic. DDU offers buyers the choice of having their goods delivered to their warehouses or retail shops at one fixed price per item.

With the DDU program, the buyer is able to:
Have one firm price including all charges up till delivery, and no last minute surprises
Compare the price of the Mauritian products to those being bought from other countries on a like-with-like basis
Compare the new DDU price being offered by the Mauritian factory with those offered by the long standing routed traffic forwarder

As a comparison, delivery costs through the DDU program can save 12%-15% compared with traditional routed traffic.
