Strategy

The interim strategy that Enterprise Mauritius will pursue over the coming months will be multi-tiered and be delivered in various different timeframes. It will be articulated around the following:
Provision of business development support to enterprises with priority but not exclusivity
to the textile and apparel sectors. This will focus on internal capability, systems, and process improvement.
Support for market development and market penetration in the garment sector.
Investigating potential for product diversification in the garment sector
Development of regional market penetration strategies and actions
Investigate the state of non textile industrial sectors and determine the potential for development through product enhancement, diversification and market development.
Engage in market and sector investigation with the objective of identifying new industrial production sectors or product diversification within existing sectors.
Develop policy and international trade analysis capabilities to provide policy advice to government and those stakeholders concerned with reducing obstacles to achieving competitiveness for exports and new business development.
