I congratulate Enterprise Mauritius for this laudable initiative to launch a monthly E-Newsletter. The need for a medium to diffuse useful information and interact with the business community and stakeholders has been felt for some time now. This Newsletter will no doubt bridge this gap. The newsletter, while meeting the needs of the industry, will also serve as an appropriate contact medium to stimulate dialogue, share experiences, review case studies, examine research papers, and invite comments and views on issues affecting the manufacturing sector.
The EM Newsletter will thus spare you hours of research and also bring you closer to one of the important agencies under my Ministry. Besides providing you direct on your laptop, updated information on trade and business opportunities, I believe that the E-Newsletter will help build a stronger relationship between the business community and Enterprise Mauritius.
The EM Newsletter comes at an opportune time to complement two of my Ministry’s initiatives to stay connected with the industry, namely:
- The setting up of an Industrial Advisory and Monitoring Committee; and
- The forthcoming launch of the Observatoire de l’Industrie.
